According to greek mythology the lyre was invented by Hermes when he was still a baby, made from the shell of a tortoise and the intestines of a cow Hermes had stolen from his brother Apollo.

The premise for this project is an unfounded claim put forth by the artist (me) that the only defining factor to determine if anyone is a poet, is technical: You need a lyre in hand.
